TUBA : MARSEILLE

« A curtain like a painting refl ecting the sea and the coves like a mirror »

This curtain, installed at TUBA in the Calanques national park in Marseille, is a real painting inspiring you to travel. Greg Gassa and Fabrice Denizot asked interior designer Marion Mailaender to reinvent the place, and she did it «with a look that is both modern, radical and deeply respectful of the spirit of the coves». The pattern of this curtain was a custom-made simple landscape of waves and the sun. It aims to refl ect the splendid view in front of it: the coves, the sea and the island of Maïre. The designer chose our intermediate chain spacing of 1.9 cm to let in more light. The curtain undulates in the wind and its pearly waves almost seem real with their blue, honey and caramel colours. The clicking of the pearl chains accompanies visitors on a gentle, bright, warm journey between sky and sea.
